RUF Field Chimes

The Ross RU5500 Field Chimes are an extension of the RUF family of instruments and feature the same heavy-duty RUF lower frame and 8” Cushion-Ride Tubeless Tires.

Widespread in growth and acceptance is the use of dedicated concert instruments and dedicated marching instruments. Almost passé are the convertible over-the-shoulder model marching brass instruments. Band directors have recognized the performance advantages in acquiring and using marching instruments and concert instruments.

Ross continues as the leader in providing value; and with the introduction of the RU5500 Field Chimes, Ross enables this same concept of dual instrumentation and specific application to be applied to chimes. Band directors can obtain a set of Ross Chimes for concert use and a set of Ross Field Chimes for marching use at a lower cost than most brands’ single set of chimes.
